About My Photography
I live and work in rural Northumberland, and most of my photography doesn’t stray far from it. I can’t travel much, but that’s never bothered me, I genuinely believe I live in the most beautiful part of the UK. So I point my lens at what’s here: hedgerows, foggy paths, broken fences, light cutting through thickets, and plants that seem like they’ve been growing forever.
I shoot on film and digital, but my film lens especially loves nature. It gives this soft, milky wash behind close-ups that turns wildflowers and tangled bramble into something almost dreamlike. I lean toward texture and quiet things; grunge, natural decay, overgrowth. The kind of beauty that doesn’t try too hard.
This isn’t travel photography. It’s local and lived-in. I'm showing you the world as I see it, one frame at a time.

Spring 2025
The Road Home
The Spring of '25 was when I started getting into photography, with two new camaras and a want to learn I set off! Most of the images are shot on my walks home from work in rural Northumberland.

What I learnt
I was just getting started this season, I'm glad I got some practice in with film as it forced me to pick up the fundementals!
During spring I was shooting 100% manual guided by the light meeters to get an understanding of how camras worked and what got the best shots. As you can see I was realy focusing on the appature due to my subjects.
One thing I want to work on next is composition, I don't thinks it's bad but it needs work!

End of the Season
It was a hot spring, and their were way more bright colours than I expected. It was fun going out and seeing the world that I walk past day in, day out in a new way!
I took a few weeks of taking photos as the seasons changed, entering summer now I see so much has changed in places I've already been and shot! I'm looking forawrd to what comes next!
