By quill and cold breath, I record the passing days

The stronghold is open—its gates yawning beneath the frost-bitten mountain like the mouth of a long-starved god. No living dwarf recalls how it fell, nor why the seals failed before Thane Korgram arrived with his iron key.

Burrar, once a quiet settlement of goat-herders and woodcutters, now swells with outsiders: mercenaries, relic-thieves, hired blades, bright-eyed lore-seekers and weather-worn veterans. They come from the coast, the southern kingdoms, even the east. Some claim to serve a cause. Most chase coin or glory.

I mark their names. I keep their stories. Most vanish into the stone. Few return. Fewer still come back whole.

System: Old-School Essentials (Advanced)
Platform: Foundry VTT + Discord (Must have Voice, Video is optional)
Time: Weekly Fridays, 18:30 UK Time
Style: Gygaxian exploration, dungeon crawling, and faction play
Tone: Cold, old-world, dangerous, but not emo or goth

FATE of Dragons

Thirty years ago, the dragons fell

Once tyrants who enslaved the mortal races, the dragons were overthrown in a massive revolt known as the Ember Uprising. The legendary Dragon Wars ended their reign, scattering their loyal knights and burning their empires to ash. No one has seen a dragon since.

Now, as the world rebuilds, ancient forces begin to stir. On the anniversary of the last dragon’s death, a celebration erupts into chaos. Cloaked figures strike, fires light the sky, and in the confusion, your characters become guardians of a secret the world thought lost.

The last dragon egg has been found. Will you protect it? Exploit it? Destroy it?
